A couple of tiny tots have been caught out by their mother at bed time, despite hoping they could trick her into thinking they were asleep.
Beauty vlogger and mother Judy Travis, 29, from Seattle, posted a video to Facebook of her one-and-a-half-year-old twins Miya and Keria cheekily trying to pretend they were sleeping while she checked up on them using her baby monitor.
In the video she can be seen holding up the monitor, which includes a camera so she can see her two girls.
They are both standing in their cots facing each other looking as though they’re chatting.
“Let me talk to them,” Travis said, before switching on her microphone and saying “Hi babies” to the girls.
The twins reacted instantly.
Suspecting their mother was on her way to their room they hit their mattresses as fast as they could, pretending to be asleep.
Travis simply laughed as she watched the girls.
The video has been viewed more than 14 million times and shared by more than 130,000 users.
Thousands of Travis’s followers responded to the video, laughing at the audacity of the twins, coming up with hundreds of ideas for what must have been going through their heads.
“Assume the position!!!!” one user wrote.
“Be quiet, mom’s here!!! Get doooown!!!!” another wrote.
