Newly Single Amber Rose: 'I'm Focusing on My Son'

Don't be fooled by the Nick Cannon rumors, says Amber Rose.

Despite the gossip surrounding newly single Rose, who announced her divorce from rapper Wiz Khalifa last month, the only man who wins her attention right now is her 19-month-old son, Sebastian.

"I'm focused on my son and my work," the model-author, 30, told PEOPLE at the launch of XXIV Karat Sparkling Wines on Thursday. "I really don't have time for a man."

In fact, her most recent date was at the pumpkin patch with her toddler, who Rose says is now talking up a storm. "He's obsessed with pumpkins, so I had to take him," she explained. "All day it's 'pumpkin, pumpkin.' I'm going to dress him up as a pumpkin for Halloween."


As for Rose's costume? "I'm going to be [children's television character] Caillou," she said.

Rose also laughed off rumors that she and Nick Cannon were an item – and that she had cheated on her husband with him. "I was like, 'Damn, Nick, that's cool for you, but it ain't happening.' "

She added that she's not even close to being ready to date again. "I'm going through a divorce and technically I'm single, but I'm just not ready for [that]."
