The little girl noticed something was wrong when her straw appeared to be blocked by what the family thought was a small worm
After purchasing the beverage during a trip to the beach, the little girl noticed was something wrong when her straw became blocked with a tiny piece of black mould - which the family thought was a small worm.
In the short video, the parents saved the drink until they returned home - so they could open it and examine its contents.
As the child's mother cuts open the silver packaging, she tips out the juice which is quickly followed by a huge piece of yellow/black mould.
Viewing the contents of the beverage, the American mother can be heard saying: "Oh God, that's nasty, oh my God, that's disgusting.
"We cut open other pouches also, and there were bits and pieces inside that," she said, explaining that the family had brought a multi-pack of the drinks.
"That is dangerous to ingest."
The concerned parent also clearly shows the best before date of the product, which clearly states that it should be safe to drink until July 2015.
The beverage is manufactured by American company Kraft Foods, who make products including Jell-O, Lunchables and their own brand cheeses and condiments.
Posting the video to Facebook, the mother's caption reads: "No more Capri Sun in this house. I don't care what Kraft's excuse is about mold this is inexcusable!!"
